Bloomlight (Brownstein/Amarante)

I cherish the way your hair used to sway with the rolling waves of outer Atlantis

That simple sight, by the bloom's fluorescent lights- I see it still, so romantic

The swarm pulsed and played as we prayed

We prayed for so long for the moment to stay

It stayed till the swarmlight decayed

And with it we withered away

This Bloomlight

I need nothing more than one night

And when it was just you and I

We danced with the withering light

Oh I adore, how, on the eve of a war, you called me your darling, Poseidon.

And beaming we wept, we smiled and we slept, and we made love  like the children of sirens

She stole me, in her mirrored eyes I saw the love as it believes

One last night, to move the heart upon Atlantis, oh I shall leave

This Bloomlight

I need nothing more than one night

And when it was just you and I

We danced with the withering light
